Even though it’s past the Summer Solstice, we’re still at a good mid-year checkpoint to step back and determine how we want to approach the remainder of 2020.
Don’t get me wrong—I’m not advocating that we all get extra busy and productive at this moment. Quite the opposite. This is more about getting clear on how you want to align your effort to your priorities. How you can prune to focus on what’s most important. Get clear now so as not to get swept up into busyness during back to work/school and the election craziness that is sure to come.

The Monthly Progress Practice – July
At the beginning of the year, we shared our Monthly Progress Practice. Progress happens through small actions, so we offer a monthly practice of small actions or micro-habits to inspire positive change this year.
Our guidance for July: “Slow down. Thinking and moving more slowly can bring you into the present and focus your attention. During the summer, take it down a notch and notice more.”
The pandemic has already given some of us time to slow down, but summer takes it to another level. Can you take your pace down another notch?
What can you be present to by slowing down?
Can you give your teams permission to slow down, too? What do you want them to pay attention to and notice?
